Cheryl Renee (Williford) Seipel

Cheryl Renee (Williford) Seipel, age 52 of Anthony, Kansas, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020. Cheryl was born August 15, 1967 in Middletown, Ohio, the daughter of LaVern and Darlene (Myers) Williford.
Cheryl graduated from Metro Boulevard High School in 1986 and was continuing her education at Hutchinson Community College for Nursing. She was previously a director for 911 Dispatch for 20 years, in both Harper and Barber Counties, also serving as an Emergency Medical Technician and Emergency Room Nurse, always being passionate for first responding and helping other people.
Cheryl was a United States Army Reserve Veteran, serving from 1986 through 1990, and again from 2005 through 2008 with deployments to El Salvador and in support of Iraqi Freedom.
Cheryl was married to Jim Seipel and together they were blessed with five children. She enjoyed music, playing piano, guitar and singing. She would pick up any instrument to try, and enjoying playing by ear. Cheryl loved to garden and fish.
She was formerly on a bowling league, and had been involved with tupperware sales and making creative memories. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene. She is survived by her father, LaVern Williford of Jefferson City, Missouri, and her children, Megan (Scott) Mangel of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Trenton (Jarrett) Seipel of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Leah (fiancé Cade) Seipel of Anthony, Kansas, Gaven (Lily) Seipel of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Katie Seipel of Anthony, brothers, Daniel Williford of Ft. Worth, Texas and David Williford of Jefferson City Missouri, and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, May 30, at 11:00 a.m., at Spring Grove Cemetery, Anthony, Kansas. Friends may sign the registry book after 9 a.m. on Friday, May 29th, at Eldringhoff Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cheryl Seipel Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
The Seipel family has entrusted the cremation care of their mother to the Eldringhoff Funeral Home of Anthony.
